Notifications

Kondo sends native desktop notifications. Manage them in settings under Notifications:

• Show desktop notifications — the master switch. Off means no alerts and no app badge.
• Show message previews — off shows who a message is from, not what it says.
• Show the app badge — the unread count on the dock icon.
• Mentions — what still gets through in a muted chat: never, when you're mentioned, or when you or everyone is.
• Quiet hours — hold alerts on a schedule. Only alerts pause; the app badge keeps counting.

Notifications also need macOS's permission — grant it in System Settings if you skipped the prompt while pairing.

Muting a chat (M) silences just that chat; Shift + M unmutes it.
