Color Themes

Choose how Kondo looks under Settings → System: Nord, Solarized, Everforest, Vaporwave or High contrast, alongside the default. Your pick follows you to every computer.

Timestamps

Several messages in a row from one person, sent days apart, no longer share a single time that made them all look like today’s.

Who Reacted

Hover an emoji under a message to see the people who added it.

Search Suggestions

When few messages match, Kondo offers “Did you mean …?” using words from your own chats.

MCP Team Switch

Team admins can now turn MCP off for their whole team under Settings → Team → Allow MCP. While it’s off, nobody on the team can connect AI assistants to Kondo.

MCP Search by Date and Media

Your AI assistant can now find messages from a given day or week, and photos, videos, voice messages or files, in your WhatsApp chats. It also sees label names and a preview of each chat’s latest message, so it can answer without opening every chat.

MCP Read, Mute and New Numbers

Your AI assistant can now mark WhatsApp chats read or unread, mute or unmute them, and draft a first message to a phone number that isn’t in your contacts. Marking a chat read sends read receipts, as it does in WhatsApp. Drafts still wait for you to send them.

MCP Offline Status

When Kondo isn’t open, your AI assistant now tells you which computer to open it on and when it was last seen, instead of saying there are no messages.

Search Order

Contacts whose name began with what you typed jumped ahead of your latest chats, even ones you hadn’t messaged in a long time or at all. Your most recent chats now stay on top.

Notes on Group Chats

Press N in a group chat to start writing a note, the same way you can on a contact. It stays with the chat, including after a restart.

Kondo Desktop for Windows

Kondo Desktop now runs on Windows. Grab the installer from the download page — it needs 64-bit Windows 10 or later. Labels, reminders, snippets and shortcuts work the same as on Mac and Linux; press Ctrl + K for the command palette.

Connection Drafts

You can now save a draft to someone you haven’t chatted with yet. Close the composer and pick it up later from the Drafts inbox, next to your chat drafts. Kondo’s MCP server can read and write these drafts too — reconnect MCP to enable it.

Search Keyboard Navigation

Arrow down from the search bar jumps to the first result; arrow up jumps to the last.

Window Dragging

Dragging the window by its title bar works again, including a quick click-and-drag.

Applied Labels Order

We heard your feedback. Applied labels showing at the top of the label picker is now a setting you can turn off, under Preferences → Labeling → Show applied labels first. We messed with the natural order! Lesson learned.

Sidebar Reordering

Dragging a label shuffled the ones you’d hidden in Organize. Hidden labels now stay where you left them.

MCP

Connecting Kondo to Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT is out of beta and available to every member with a Business subscription. Your AI tools can now read and act on your WhatsApp chats.

WhatsApp Group Chats

Group chats synced from a WhatsApp Business account now show the group’s own name correctly.

Kondo for WhatsApp is here

Kondo Desktop is a native desktop app that turns your WhatsApp chats into an inbox you can clear. Archive the chats you’re done with, set a reminder on the ones you’ll come back to, label the rest, and reply faster with snippets and keyboard shortcuts.

It pairs with WhatsApp as a linked device, like WhatsApp Web. Your phone stays the main device, and your messages, contacts, and attachments stay on your computer.

One subscription covers both LinkedIn and WhatsApp. Sign in with the same email, and your labels, snippets, and sidebar carry over.

macOS 13.3 or later; Linux support added later. Download Kondo Desktop, sign in, and scan the QR code from WhatsApp on your phone.

Release Notes

The what’s-new popover is back in the web app. Recent Kondo for LinkedIn updates show up there again.

Google Sheets Sync

Some rows arrived without the connection’s LinkedIn profile link, and a missing connection date showed up as 1969. Every row now carries the right link, and unknown dates stay blank.

Sales Navigator Search

Searching Sales Navigator messages for a full name matched nothing; only single-word searches worked. Multi-word searches work again, and new Sales Navigator chats are less likely to go missing between refreshes.

Snippet Usage Tracking

Snippets with a blank line in them now show up in snippet analytics. They were never counted as used before.

Contact Notes

We fixed an issue where a saved note on a contact could be wiped.

Label Search

Label search now matches anywhere in a label's name instead of only the start — searching "looking" finds "Not looking".

Connection Search

Connection search stopped returning anyone. It's working again.

Label Actions

Renaming, recoloring or deleting a label from its menu also toggled that label on the chat you were labeling.

Project Requests in Chats

LinkedIn services marketplace project requests now show as a card in the conversation, with a link to the project.

Inbox Focus

Archiving a chat could pull your place in the list back to where you had been, as if you had replied. Only your own reply does that now.

Sales Navigator Reconnect

When Sales Navigator disconnected you either got the reconnect prompt over and over, or never saw it at all. Now it's one prompt per disconnect.

Inbox and Reminders

Replying to a chat deep in your inbox now keeps your place in the list. And opening a past-due reminder from the Reminders inbox no longer clears it.

HubSpot Activity Owners

Activities Kondo pushes to HubSpot are now assigned to the Kondo user who triggered them, when that person exists as a HubSpot owner. Your team can see whose touchpoint it is.

Your Appearance Settings Stick

Dark mode, the sidebar and the panel layout no longer reset when you quit your browser.

Better People Search

Compose now uses LinkedIn's own typeahead when you pick who to message. Connection search also falls back to LinkedIn's global typeahead when the regular search comes up empty.

Team Settings

Admins can now hide the member list and analytics from non-admin teammates. Approving a teammate, assigning a seat and changing a role each get their own success and error messages, instead of one generic failure.

Salesforce in Leads Mode

When Kondo matches an existing Contact, it now syncs labels, notes and conversation history to it, not just the latest message.

Small Fixes

Arrow keys sometimes scrolled the chat the wrong way. Copying a conversation pasted it newest-first. Attio fields in the side panel showed raw data instead of their values. And the panel jumped when you clicked into a contact note.

Sync Full Message History

Webhook destinations can now opt into syncing every message instead of only the latest.

Larger Text

A new text size preference scales messages and other key surfaces to 125%, for bigger type without zooming the whole app.

Clarify Integration

Sync your LinkedIn conversations and contacts to Clarify.

Reminder Times

Type a bare number into a reminder and Kondo offers both times and the date: "3" gives 3 AM, 3 PM and "On the 3rd", while "3rd" gives just the date.

Two New Preferences

⌘ Enter can now send and leave you in the composer, ready to type again — the same as ⌥ Enter. And the label picker can be set to stay open, so you can apply several labels without reopening it.

Connect Kondo to Claude

Kondo's MCP server is out of beta and available to everyone on a Business plan. Connect Kondo to Claude or another AI client and let it read your inbox, draft replies and manage your chats.

Head to Settings → MCP to get started.

Integrations

Field mapping dropdowns now show each field's key, so you can tell apart two fields with the same name. Sync destinations can be deleted — for CRM integrations Kondo disconnects the integration first. Tasks Kondo creates in Salesforce are assigned to your Kondo user, not the integration user. And ⌘ S syncs the open chat to your integrations.

Small Fixes

Search results showed blank message previews. In a group chat, the side panel's single-chat button took you back to the group instead of the 1:1. Sending the first message to a connection left the chat empty until you reloaded. A Sales Navigator rate limit could leave search empty for ten minutes. The Reminders tab ignored your view filters and hid the filter menu. And signing out could hang on the loading screen.

See which snippets you and your team actually use, in the analytics dashboard.

Video Messages

You can now record your screen as well as your camera when you send a video. Videos you've sent can also be deleted.

Okta SSO

Sign in with Okta, with domain enforcement for teams.

You can now change the email address on your account yourself, from settings.

Voice Notes

"Failed to save voice note as snippet" is fixed, along with audio conversion and file upload failures.

Auto-Transcribe Voice Notes

Kondo now automatically transcribes voice notes in your conversations. Transcripts appear below the audio player as you listen, and you can copy them with a single click. Transcripts will also sync to integrations.

Salesforce Integration

Our Salesforce integration now supports syncing of Contacts, Fields, and Messages, and displaying Salesforce links and fields in the Kondo side panel

Emoji Picker Emoticons

The emoji picker now correctly suggests emoticons when you type them. Typing :D now shows 😄 at the top of suggestions, and symbol-based emoticons like :) and :( now work as expected.

Snippet List Sorting

You can now sort your snippets by name or last updated date by clicking the column headers. By default, snippets are sorted by most recently updated first.

Voice Note Snippets

You can now save recorded voice notes as snippets and reuse them in future conversations. Audio files (mp3, wav, ogg) you attach to messages now send as playable voice notes on LinkedIn instead of file downloads.

Send videos in Kondo

You can now record send videos from Kondo, they will send as playable video to your recipients, just like if you sent them from mobile.

Analytics V2

The analytics dashboard got an upgrade, and some new metrics like reply rate and weekly label counts.

Read Receipts

You can now see when recipients have read your sent messages. An eye icon appears next to seen messages, and hovering shows who viewed them and when. This will not be available if your recipients have disabled LinkedIn read receipts enabled in their settings.

Message search improvements

You can now multi-select and infinite scroll in messages search.

Attachments in Snippets

You can now attach files, images, and videos to snippets. Attach files in the snippet editor or Cmd + K -> Create a snippet from chat when you have a file uploaded.

Filter Inboxes

You can now create inboxes that filter on multiple labels. Go to the Organize tabs menu, and click 'New Filter Inbox' to try it out.

Send videos

Videos attached to messages now send as a playable video in LinkedIn.

Create CRM record action

You can now create CRM records directly from Kondo by clicking 'Add to CRM' in the side panel, once you have your CRM connected.

Voice Note & File Upload Reliability

We fixed an issue where voice notes and file uploads could fail without retrying. Kondo now automatically retries up to 3 times if an upload fails, making sending attachments more reliable.

Snippet Placeholder Navigation

You can now use Tab to quickly jump between custom placeholders in a snippet.

GIF Picker

You can now send GIFs directly from the messenger using the new GIPHY picker in the toolbar (Shortcut F). Search for the perfect reaction or browse trending GIFs.

Connections Tab Shortcuts

Use Shift + W to filter by "No Messages Yet" and Shift + S to filter by "Already Messaged" in the Connections tab.

Custom Feed Shortcut

You can now multi-select connections anywhere in the app and hit P to open a custom feed on LinkedIn with posts from the selected connections.

Sales Nav Profile Link

You can now access Sales Navigator profiles directly from the right panel, or use Shift + I to open them quickly.

Emoji Autocorrect Fix

We fixed an issue where typing :-) would autocorrect to a flag emoji instead of a smiley face.

Sales Nav search

Message search (shortcut /) now searches Sales Nav chats too for users on the Business plan

Filter by label

You can now filter the Connections tab by Label.

Sales Nav inbox

You can now see Sales Nav messages separately in the Sales Nav inbox, accessible in the left tabs menu.

Voice note fixes

We fixed an issue where some users were experiencing issues where the mic would not pick up any audio despite being connected to Kondo.

Sales Nav Messsages

Kondo now pulls in messages from Sales Nav for Business plan users.

To enable this, simply

• check that you're on a Business plan in settings -> billing
• refresh Kondo to the latest version
• open your sales nav inbox from LinkedIn once
• return to Kondo and messages should start loading

You can filter messages with Cmd + K -> Sales Nav to show / hide Sales Nav threads.

Salesforce integration

A direct Salesforce integration is now available to users on our Business and Enterprise plans. Install our managed package to sync DMs to completed tasks on matching lead records.

Team labels

You can now share labels across your Kondo team workspace.

Simply open any label inbox and click "Share with team" next to the title.

All members of your Kondo team will automatically be able to see this label and apply it to their conversations.

Users with access to Analytics will also be able to see a snapshot of label stats in their dashboard.

Team analytics

Basic analytics on DM weekly activity is now available on a request-only basis to users on a Business plan, see a preview of Analytics.

ps. you can get this even if you are a 1-person team.

Team Integrations

You can now share integration destinations.

Navigate to the bottom of the integrations page or click the "..." next to any integration destination to share it with your team.

Only admins can turn on/off integrations and data from team members' workspaces will automatically flow to destinations once enabled for the team

Team Snippets

You can now share labels across your Kondo team workspace.

Navigate to the bottom of the snippets page or click the "..." next to any snippet to share it with your team.

Invites Tab

The new Invites tab in Kondo lets you see all inbound connection requests.

Use shortcuts Y/N to accept or reject them individually, or multi-select with check-boxes or Cmd + A to process in bulk.

Due to some limitations, the tab loads only the most recent 100 connection requests at at time.

The new Connections tab in Kondo lets you see all 1st degree connections.
