What is MCP for WhatsApp?
MCP is how Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other assistants talk to Kondo Desktop. They can read your WhatsApp inbox and take inbox actions you approve, while the app is running on your Mac.
Does this upload my WhatsApp chats to Kondo?
Message data is read from the Kondo app on your computer. Command and response data passes through Kondo’s relay in memory and is not stored.
Does the desktop app need to stay open?
Yes. MCP only works while Kondo Desktop is running on your computer.
Which plan includes MCP?
MCP is included on the Business and Enterprise plans. It is not included on Lite or Basic.
Will my assistant send WhatsApp messages by itself?
No. Kondo does not run outreach sequences. An assistant can draft and take inbox actions you confirm; it does not send bulk WhatsApp messages on its own.
