Is Kondo safe?

LinkedIn does not have public APIs for content, connections, or messaging. This means almost all third party tools use workaround approaches to interacting with LI.
Kondo is no exception to this, and uses approaches similar to messaging apps like Texts and Beeper to get access to your LinkedIn messages.
1. Does Kondo violate the LinkedIn Terms of Service?
First, let's look at what LinkedIn says about the use of 3rd party tools (here https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1340522):
LinkedIn is committed to keeping our members' data safe and our platform free from fraud and abuse. In order to protect our members' privacy and keep LinkedIn a trusted platform for authentic interactions, we don't allow the use of third-party software or browser extensions that scrape, modify the appearance of, or automate activity on LinkedIn's website.
Automated inauthentic activity violates the LinkedIn User Agreement and can result in temporary or permanent restriction of your account.
Kondo does none of the above.
We do not scrape any LinkedIn pages.
We do not modify the appearance of any LinkedIn pages.
We do not automate any activity.
To expand a little on 3 — you can't bulk send messages in Kondo. You can't sequence any messages, set auto-replies or follow ups.
We've built Kondo in line with LinkedIn's purposes of encouraging authentic interaction on the platform. With Kondo, users are able to zoom in on conversations they care about in their inbox and engage, rather than getting overwhelmed.
2. Is my LinkedIn data safe?
First, Kondo does not store your LinkedIn credentials. We use the active session cookie on your browser to access LinkedIn, and once you log out of LinkedIn.com, Kondo stops working.
When connected, Kondo caches your message data locally on your computer. It never gets sent to our servers, and we have no idea who you're talking to or what you're saying to them on LinkedIn.
